Thoughts
Another special weekend in your favourite place to celebrate your birthday, now as a family of seven. We introduced Arthur and Freya to the beautiful Northumberland coast which is now becoming an annual tradition. We love and miss you every day but we made a weekend of special memories for our children like you did for us. Thank you. Happy 65th Birthday Dad. Lots of love Ellen & Rob. Xx

I'll probably say this every year but I can't believe it was two years since we said goodbye. We had a lovely afternoon together as a family. You would have been so proud of your three beautiful grandchildren. We had a lovely lunch together and then we went to visit you. Thea knows who her Grandad Vickerstaff is, she recongises you on photos and when we said Grandad is here under the tree, she said 'Is Grandad hiding?' We said with a smile and tears in our eyes, 'Grandad is hiding in the tree.' So you're in the tree! Your little mini-me is 15 weeks tomorrow (!) and it's amazing to see David be a father to his beautiful girl. You would be so proud of him Dad, I am. You were the best Dad we could wish for, an inspiration to us and we hope to be the same to our children. I love you Dad and miss you everyday. Xx
